Anyhow, I can’t remember if I wrote this uninformed allegation on my blog or whether I only mentioned it when I emailed the above lassie.
I mentioned that the London bombing could’ve been a kind of ‘fundraiser’ (yes, I watched ‘The Long Kiss Goodnight’ recently) something to make us British sheep accept the need for an identity card (something I have very little problem with anyhow as long as it’s done correctly) well my housemate just sent me the link for this
So many suspicious people in the world…

You can’t help but wonder though can you? I mean, trust in the authorities is slim at best – I can think of very few people who can talk of the government of any country without taking the piss. My own experience of dealing with a governmental body has left me with very little but contempt for their organisation.
Democracy is a joke. I’d rather have a benevolent tyrant in place who has a working plan to cover every aspect of our culture than the current muppets who bend in the slightest breeze as long as there’s a bit of profit in it for ‘em.
Though to be fair – I know next to nothing about politics and the inner workings (or the outer workings for that matter) of our government, so this is just piss and wind spouted by someone who reads far too much sci-fi/ fantasy.
Tell ya what though – I reckon even I could do a better job than some of the more informed muppets we have running the country!
Sod foreign policy for the next 4 years or so. Lets just close borders and totally overhaul the archaic judiciary system, health and education sectors – re-organise all benefits procedures (because they blatantly don’t work efficiently right now) and sort out the mess that privatisation has made of our public transport system.
But that’s just a top of my head plan.

Still – I can bet there’s other people who feel the same as me and they could do a better job. Shame we’re all too pessimistic, lazy and lacking the money and contacts to put us in the positions of power we’d need eh?!
Hmm… maybe I should go into politics? You’d vote for me wouldn’t you *grin*
