The truly delightful nature of the place I live has been thrown in our faces again – I’m just so glad we were out last night.
I went to the shop this afternoon to get some more flu remedies for my poorly lil man, as I walked down my path I was greeted by the sight of crime scene tape and a solitary policeman stood outside the house directly opposite – I made a disgusted face said hi and walked past.
When I came back i saw him chatting to a lass climbing out of a forensics coverall and continued past them to walk up my path – that’s when I noticed the blood.
There were little puddles of it dotted up my path leading to a larger pool just underneath the window by our front door.
I figured I’d better draw it to their attention but it turns out they’ve already been in our garden this morning and had taken all their photo’s, she told me to just wash it away as soon as possible so that we don’t attract rats.
Apparantly there’d been an ‘incident’ with the 3 lads over the road and a visitor that ended with someone being stabbed – she couldn’t tell me the full story but apparantly one of them had ran over to our house for help, I can only assume it must’ve been someone who didn’t realise the former unsavoury characters had moved from here.
I’m just getting a bit sick of it all, from exploding cars, police, bailiffs and now more stab victims (this one happened 2 roads up from my house)
I’ve always known Salford is not one of the better places in Manchester to live but with a serial rapist on the loose in the area as well, I’ll just be glad when we can get out of here!
On the plus side though – we had a good night in the Staff, my dad proved once again that his Gene Vincent is second to none and he can do a mean Elvis when the mood takes him *grin* I’m still better than him though, Kay as usual managed to beat us all though – she did a cracking version of ‘Unwritten’
