Figures really, I was still buzzing so much that even after I wen to bed at a fairly reasonable hour i was still lying in the dark, wide awake when him downstairs starts.
I was still awake at around 6am when he finally stopped – then the kid next door starts crying so I didn’t actually get to sleep till about 7ish – only to be woken by a birthday alarm at 9am on the phone *sniff*
Means I spent all day in bed instead of getting the early start I had planned to buy my dress and clean the flat.
We did head out at 4ish though, I now have my very tasteful ‘audrey hepburn’ style dress and a matching bag (i’ve never really been a bag person but Stef insisted) Now i plan on chilling before an early night.
So glad we’re not home this evening – means I may actually be able to sleep!
