Can you believe the reason I cannot log into my web account is because my host took it upon themselves to change my log in details without informing me?

Apparently I should have received an email on Jan 10th informing me of the move – I didn’t.

I should also have received an email yesterday with my new log in – I didn’t.

I’m still awaiting some form of information as to how and when I can log in to administer my site, but like everything else that’s gone wrong lately I have to wait for someone else *sigh* apparently there have been some vicious hacks recently which is why they decided to do this (apparently the email on the 10th was to inform me of this and ask that I change my own password) I just want to access my own site – it’s been 3 days now and I’m starting to get more than a little peeved!

On the plus side at least I know I don’t have to re-do all my uploads, that would’ve been a pain!

    Hey Vics, how you feeling? Be glad that your site wasnt hijacked like my old blog was. It was pimped, I tell you, and now it is a site devoted to porn. Eew. Yuk. A year of posts/my journal. Just gone. Hope things get sorted soon, I do know how frustrating it is not to be able to log on. We are such techno internet- addicts! :)

    Oh that just sucks bigtime….I’ve got the best hosting site….haven’t had a single issue so far..TOUCH WOOD!! Have you been able to get in yet??
