"Now, about this daylong list..?" just ask my wife....

as for the US citizenship, I'm not sure it's a benefit for you either...but you know what? I'm not about to give mine up

Awww.. but the UK is such a great place to live (note the sarcastic tone there btw) surely you'd like to move over here instead - lets face it, we're becoming more American by the day so it's not like you'd have massive culture shock to contend with..

It's too bad the timing didn't work out better...you could have married me after your divorce was finalized..then Stef would get to live his dream of shacking up with a married lass and you'd get all the benefits of being married to me. These benefits include: US citizenship, top notch genetic material for the purposes of reproduction, a truly wild wedding night (don't knock trampolines & midgets until you've tried it), a mate who will never tire of your "cute" accent, and....well I could continue this list for days, but I think you get the point.

Oh well, I guess it's not to be. My wife's not into the sharing so much...well except for that one night, but that's another tale for another time.

US citizenship is a benefit? Please.. Be serious honey *grin*

please pardon me, as I am not fully educated on the common law..er...laws in the UK....in the US it varies by state, but I think it most cases it is a 5 year minimum.

LOL Nor am I m'lovely - according to Wiki, that particular law was abolished under the 1973 marriage act *sigh* Guess I'll just have to see if he'd rather have a married woman under the same roof since he finds it less fun with a divorcee.. ;)

alright, if no one else will say it, I will....you can't call her your mother-in-law until you and Steffie-boy tie the old knot. And don't give me no bullshit excuse about waiting for your divorce to come through cause I know it already did. So tell the old bloke to do the proper thing and stop living in sin...it's bad enough he was living with a married woman....

Well, we are technically common law by now lovey..
