I’m not entirely sure why but this blog has had an explosion of visitors of late – I can only assume twitter and the socialset site have something to do with it..

The downside to this is suddenly I’m also getting LOADS more spam, askimet is a godsend as without it I’d be drowning – at present I’m on something like 103+ spam comments every 2 hours (that was the count today anyhow) but THIS one.. Oh my did I chuckle:

Much as I’d LOVE to believe this ‘lass’ is for real and lovely and nice and all that.. She didn’t say she wouldn’t send the spam to my email address instead! and she’d have my address saved at ‘tedirectory’..

Wait a minute – she’s trying to CON me *sniff* how nasty is that? Playing on my good nature in such a fashion.

And to think I was starting to like Galinagirl..

In addition to using Askimet I’m also deleting all users who’ve signed up whose email addresses are unknown to me so if you are not a spam bot and suddenly find there’s a problem, just click on the contact me link in the sidebar and let me know so that in future I can leave you be when I cull possible spammers.

*grin* I never thought I’d see the day where this place would become popular enough to warrant such things, still.. they had to find me sooner or later I guess, 4 years of blogging without such action is a good run but it seems my time has come.

Right, I’m now off down south with the lad to sort out out future living accommodation. I’ve been packing throughout the day, he’s just about done with his stuff so anytime in the next hour we’ll be off *sigh* intermittent net connection for the next week again. I hate that!
